Dear *|FNAME|* *|LNAME|*,
as for most of you, we had a plesantly busy October with a cascade of events, international delegations and conferences.
Let's start with some figures from our Annual Conference on October 7: Two keynotes & Three additional talks, 10 Exhibitors, 7 Young Scientists for one prize, 4.5 h of networking, 1 smoothie-bike, 10l of coffee, 200+ participants. Follow us on the LinkedIn channel on Thursdays for interviews and impressions.
Few days later, the Life Science Investors' Day took place in Heidelberg with 30 Startups and 25+ investors from Europe.
Merck launched its Golden Ticket for BioLabs, offering lab and office space for free for one year for early-stage biotech companies in the field of oncology, neurology & immunology, fertility & women's health.
On the same day, we celebrated with the City of Heidelberg, Zech Stiftung and BioLabs the quick growth of the building that will host from 2023 biotech startups on 2000+ sqm space (Richtfest).
Recently, we have been on the road with DKFZ, Owkin, Sciomics, Singleron and representatives from the Motropole Region Rhine-Neckar to visit the Leuven Ecosystem. It was great to catch up with our partners in Belgium, renewing the mutual interest and strong connections that have been there since more than 10 years.
Simultaneously a group of companies working in personalised medicine came from Canada to connect and looking for cooperation partners in Germany (more).
Last week during our Lounge, Michaela Arndt shared her journey from bench to bed, from lab to patients and from being a scientist to become an entrepreneur, while building Heidelberg ImmunoTherapeutics.
Networking never stops: check out what we have prepared for November!
