Dear *|FNAME|* *|LNAME|*,
Nurturing and extending connections among regional innovation stakeholders is at the core of BioRN's activities. We bridge members regionally and towards other innovative ecosystems worldwide.
One of the tools that we use to achieve this is the
BioRN Annual Conference (BAC), October 9th in Heidelberg.
We have set up an amazing programme with key-note speeches, lunch talks and sessions and plenty of opportunities for exchange and networking on the exhibition floor. You will find all information on the
website, as well as the
registration button :-)
Moreover the call for abstracts for the
Young Scientists Pitch Competition is open until July 15th. We encourage Master- or PhD-Students and Postdocs to send their research abstracts around the conference topic to have the possibility to pitch during the conference in front of an audience from industry and academia experts and compete for a monetary prize.
Ongoing dialogue with our members is the decisive factor when it comes to developing new programs.
We are launching a new event format for talent acquisition on 24 October:
BioBridge Rhine-Neckar
In order to facilitate the contact between young scientists with medium-sized biotechnology companies and startups, BioContact and BioRN have joined forces and launched the new event format “BioBridge Rhine-Neckar”.
At this brand new event, companies briefly pitch themselves and attendees can explore various career paths from a personal perspective, uncover details behind job titles and job advertisements, and eventually pave the way for a smooth transition into a new job.
Here you find more information about the BioBridge Rhine-Neckar. Registration is possible until July 15th.
Young talents need role models!
This month we conducted an interview as part of the M2M Member to Member series "
People shaping the Life Science Region" with the impressive Edith Heard, Director General at EMBL. This interview is available on demand on our
website and there is only one thing to say: don´t miss watching it!
