Event calendar
bioRN Lounge
Every last tuesday of the month at 6 PM (NEW!)
The bioRN Lounge is the monthly networking event for members of the bioRN cluster. We welcome representatives from biotech and life science companies in the bioRN Life Science Cluster, as well as scientists from our research institutes.
Urban Kitchen in Heidelberg
After a short update of bioRN cluster activities and news, an invited speaker from the network presents and discusses scientific trends, breakthrough techniques, outstanding research, and more with the participants.

InTraSeq technology: a multimodal single cell method for simultaneous measurement of RNA and Proteins to uncover new single cell biology
Join us for an interesting talk on InTraSeq, a multimodal technology that simultaneously measures RNA, intracellular proteins, and post-translational modifications (PTMs) from the same single cell. By directly capturing protein expression and signaling pathway activation alongside transcriptomic data, InTraSeq provides a more comprehensive view of cellular functional states than standard single-cell RNA sequencing alone. The technology integrates with established 10x Genomics workflows and enables the identification of cell subtypes, differentiation trajectories, and signaling dynamics that may not be captured at the transcriptomic level.

bioRN M2M Member to Member featuring NMI Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at the University of Tübingen in Reutlingen
Join the NMI and bioRN for expert insights at the upcoming bioRN Member to Member session.
On 7 October at 12pm we meet Jörg Göpfert and Frank Weise from NMI Naturwissenschaftliches und Medizinisches Institut an der Universität Tübingen to discover how NMI combines application-oriented research, advanced technologies and close links to clinical practice to provide tailor-made R&D solutions for pharma, biotech, start-ups and SMEs – from disease models and bioanalytics to personalised medicine.
Submit your question during registration and selected questions will be discussed live during the event. Plus: Get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the NMI facilities.
The NMI Natural and Medical Sciences Institute at the University of Tübingen in Reutlingen conducts research at the interface of bio- and material sciences. NMI supports health care and industrial sectors in R&D and services, focusing on drug development, personalized medicine, and materials functionalization. Their work spans Pharma, Biotech, Biomedicine, and Materials Sciences, with key services in analytics and electron microscopy. NMI is also recognized for its start-up incubator concept in biotechnology and materials science.
