the year is drawing to a close and for the last time in 2024 we report on the events of the past few weeks.

bioRN December Highlights:
The M2M session with our member Nanobot on "scientific storytelling" provided insights into the impact of medical animations and the great contributions from the participants emphasised the added value of the company presentations for the bioRN member community. Here you can find the videos of past M2M interviews. The relaxed Christmas period is the perfect time for learning more about our member companies!
The bioRN HR community met for a workshop on “employer branding” - a topic at the interface between HR and Communications, who engaged in intensive dialogue and were able to take many ideas back to their companies. The next HR breakfast will take place in March and will be announced soon on our website.
We were represented at the sixth annual event of the Baden-Württemberg Healthcare Forum, where over 200 experts discussed technological advances and future improvements in healthcare. ‘Innovations in the healthcare sector not only bring scientific progress, but also improve the quality of life of many people. The Forum Gesundheitsstandort is the platform for closely interlinking research, care and business and for driving forward new developments for the benefit of all patients’, emphasized Minister President Winfried Kretschmann. The German Biotechnology Days 9-10 April will be this year´s highlight event for bioRN. Visit us and 14 member companies at the joint bioRN Village booth space in the Foyer of the Heidelberg Congress Center.
As a premiere we are going to showcase our life science region at the Swiss Biotech Days, May 5-6 within the bioRN Global Village.

Innovation Award 2025, German Bioregions: Application Deadline at 14 February 2025.
The Innovation Prize honors innovative ideas that are patented or have been applied for patenting. We are looking for application-oriented ideas with strong implementation potential and high market opportunities.
