Dear *|FNAME|* *|LNAME|*,
Two last things to do before OOO for the summer break:
- Read the newsletter and learn about the bioRN activities
- Mark your calendar to join and register for: life – the biomedical convention on 4 February
As summer hits its peak, July brought a wave of new formats, inspiring events, and fruitful collaborations. Here's what moved our network this month – and what’s coming next!
bioRN Blood & BBQ: At our Blood & BBQ event at 10 July, incredible people took time out of their day to roll up their sleeves and give something truly vital. In return, we fired up the grill, shared good food and good talks – because giving back should feel good, too. One donation can save up to three lives. Next year, we’re counting on you again! bioRN C-Level Circle: trusting exchange, peer coaching and strategic discussions
We proudly launched the first edition of our C-Level Circle on 24 July at the KLINKER Café. This new and exclusive format designed for Executives of our member companies offers a space for open, strategic exchange in a confidential setting, combined with an impulse from a proven expert on a topic of particular relevance. The feedback from the 30 attendees was overwhelmingly positive! Participants appreciated the high trust level, peer-based learning, and the profound impact on C-levels in our vibrant life science ecosystem! The next C-Level Circle is in planning, stay tuned at our
website.
Supporting the vibrant Heidelberg ecosystem:
As a network partner, bioRN supported two events that highlight the visibility of our region as a life science and AI hot spot and attract numerous talents.
The EuroStem Peers Annual Conference on 11-12 July at BioLabs Heidelberg provided plenty of opportunities for exchange and knowledge transfer for young scientists working in the MINT field.
The premiere of the event “AI Science for Business" on July 25, 2025 at Heidelberg Innovation Park combined top speakers, real business cases and hands-on AI in around 70 sessions, underlining the growth of the Region as a hub for data-driven life science innovation.
bioRN receives funding to further strengthen the life science ecosystem:
We are excited to announce that our application under the Regional Innovation Systems (RIS) program within the EFRE framework has been approved! With this support, we will further strengthen the life science region Rhine-Neckar and actively drive the transformation of the healthcare sector in Baden-Württemberg. Further more the application for "SynergieHub4 Health", a collaborative project by BioPharma Cluster South German, BioRegio Stern, BioLago and bioRN was also approved. Read more

M2M Member-to-Member insight: spotlight on Probio
In July’s M2M session, we spoke with Probio, a global CDMO with strong expertise in CGT, antibody, and protein therapeutics. The conversation offered valuable insights into their service portfolio and vision for biologics innovation.
