Welcome to bioRN, the science and industry innovation cluster in the Rhine-Neckar region around Heidelberg, one of Germany’s strongest biotech and life science hubs. BioRN combines all relevant innovation stakeholders in life sciences based on the constant interaction between academia, industry and public for the production, transfer and application of knowledge.
1996–2026: 30 years of the bioRN Life Science Cluster. We are proud of our history and the milestones we have achieved for our region and for Germany as a biotechnology location. Why bioRN?

The bioRN network fosters health innovations and serves its members by creating a rich translational ecosystem, while promoting, representing, and connecting regional innovation stakeholders. It aims to attract global investment and talent to the region, and also develops strategies and concepts to strengthen innovation and translation, simplifying the framework conditions for startups.
