Dear *|FNAME|* *|LNAME|*,
A warm welcome back – summer is drawing to a close and we’re kicking off the second half of the year - and hopefully we’ll see you soon.
August may have been a little quieter across the Life Science Region Rhine-Neckar – but there is plenty taking shape for the months ahead.
One event already firmly on our horizon is life – the biomedical convention on 3 February 2027. Registration is open, the first exhibitors and partners are on board, and the scientific programme is beginning to take shape.
For #life2027 we are putting the spotlight on two areas that reflect both major developments in biomedicine and the strengths of our ecosystem.
AI in Health will explore how artificial intelligence is changing biomedical research and healthcare – from AI-driven drug discovery, computational protein design and digital pathology to precision medicine and data-driven diagnostics. But we also want to look beyond individual applications: How do we integrate data effectively? What does responsible implementation require? And how will AI change the roles of scientists, clinicians and decision-makers?
Biomedical Innovations turns the spotlight on the Life Science Region Rhine-Neckar itself. We want to showcase research, technologies and new approaches emerging from our region – particularly where scientific excellence meets translational potential and creates new opportunities for healthcare and biomedical innovation.
And this is where you come in: We are looking for the next generation of researchers to take the life stage: the Young Scientists’ Pitch Competition will once again give early-career scientists the opportunity to present their research to the life science community.
